I’m so happy you’re here! Hi, I’m Kelly, I’d love to introduce you to my little family: This is my husband Jordan and my daughter Brynn at our wedding in Lake Chelan.
My story
If we’re talkin’ flowers, my first love was stargazer lilies. I loved them so much that when my daughter was born, I named her Brynn Lillie, which is also my great grandmother’s name. It was just meant to be.
I spent the first 14 years of my daughter’s life a single mom. The year she was born we were all experiencing the economy collapsing and since I obviously needed to provide for my daughter, I jumped into a stable health insurance career. After years of project and client management, I was ready to bring creativity and art back into my life. Okay, way more than ready - I’ve been running towards it with open arms (like I was chasing down the last bus home after a long work day). So just know, if what you’re planning is overwhelming, or life is too busy and you just need someone to step in, take care of the details, and make it beautiful.. I get it, I’ve been there, and I got this!
A few years ago we moved from Issaquah to Snohomish, Washington and I recently got married to my amazingly supportive husband, Jordan. We have 3 beautiful acres of land, a couple dogs, and one cat. The very first thing I did after moving here was plant 130 lilies along our driveway to help my daughter feel more at home- I hoped seeing them brought a smile to her face every time we came home and she remembered how much I love her.
My flower love expanded and I welcomed dahlias to our home …and roses and hydrangea…and that’s when I knew: I need to expand, grow and use my passion (obviously!). It’s time. Working the land is my therapy… and every time I get to work with flowers I am reminded about the best thing to ever happen to me: my sweet girl.
That, is joy.
Picked with care
I love plants. I love nature. I love getting my hands dirty. Growing flowers is my peace and it teaches me patience. It brings me immense joy to be able to share the things that I love with others. Providing something hand made, locally made from start to finish is a special touch that I’m excited to share with you.
For that reason, I source as many of my own flowers as possible for arrangements. When I cannot use my own, I make every effort to source from local farms. I love supporting local families!
If you’re curious about what I grow beyond lilies and dahlias.. That’s GREAT! ...because I love talking about it! I’m currently growing roses, cosmos, peony, ranunculus, foxglove, poppies, anemone, sunflowers, tulips, hydrangea, larkspur, strawflower, baby’s breath.. and so much more! I’m adding more all the time - I can’t help it, I love flowers! Come work with me and let’s use some of these beauties to make your special day magical.
